ROUTE
- Day 1, Arrival
in Nauders near Lake Reschensee (Lago di Resia). Hand out of rental bikes and information; unguarded parking space near the hotel.
Overnight in the 3***Hotel Edelweiß.
- Day 2, Naturns (67 km, 31 km thereof downhill)
Along the ETSCH you cycle through well-kept orchards, passing Castle Dornsberg. Finally you arrive in the holiday town Naturns (townscape, fortress).
Overnight in a 3***hotel.
- Day 3, Bozen (49 km)
Slightly downhill to Meran and further on the ETSCH CYCLE TRACK to Nals, then very beautiful on flat CYCLE TRACKS through Andrian to the Etsch/Eisack-mouth near the Castle Sigmundskron; on cycle tracks directly into the centre of BOZEN.
Overnight in the 4****Hotel Four Points by Sheraton.
- Day 4, Mezzocorona (48 km)
Further on the ETSCH CYCLE TRACK to Neumarkt-Auer and to the language border near Salurn as well as the resort Mezzocorona. Overnight in a 3***hotel.
- Day 5, Rovereto (47 km)
On the ETSCH CYCLE TRACK directly into the centre of the Trento; further on into the town Rovereto, well-known for its big memorials. Overnight in the 3***Hotel Rovereto or similar.
- Day 6, Riva del Garda (41 km)
On the ETSCH CYCLE TRACK till Mori, slightly hilly to San Giovanni. Through Torbole you reach the Lake Gardasee to Arco or Riva. Overnight in the 4****Hotel Palace Citta/Arco or 3***Hotel Venezia/Riva.
- Day 7, Journey home
By bus to Nauders or additional overnights.
