At the beginning riding through light hills to the Altmühl riverhead; then riding along the "playing" stream passing the Hohenzollern Castle Colmberg till Ansbach (guided tour through the imperial palace; the biggest orangery in the world).

Riding along the lake Altmühlsee and through Gunzenhausen reaching Karlsgraben and Wettelsheim.

Riding through Treuchtlingen and the Altmühltal nature park. Further to Pappenheim, Solnhofen reaching the "Twelve Apostles" cliffs and the Bishop's city Eichstätt. Continuing further along the Altmühl passing through the Roman fortress Pfünz reaching Arnsberg.
