Donauradweg_Eferding_Schloss_Starhemberg
  • Day 1, Arrival
    at either Passau (except Sunday) or Schlögen. Distribution of bicycles and info documents. Unsecured parking.
Donauradweg_Engelhartszell_Stift
  • Day 2, Linz (57 km cycling, 30 km by ship)
    Passing over the Schlögener bends riding to Kaiserau and Untermühl (in case of arrival in Schlögen riding to Linz), further by boat to Linz. Overnight stay in 4****Hotels C. Marriott or Schillerpark.
Donauradweg_Enns_Schloss_Ennsegg
  • Day 3, Linz & St. Florian (45 km)
    Visit to the Linz Castle. By cable car up to the Pöstlingberg. Riding further to St. Florian near Linz. Monastery Tour and return journey. Overnight stay in the previous night's hotel.
Donauradweg_Grein_Greinburg
  • Day 4, Maria Taferl (64 km cycling, 23 km by train)
    By train to Mauthausen. Further riding to Grein and Maria Taferl/overnight stay in 4****Hotel Krone-Kaiserhof.

  • Day 5, Day of rest, Maria Taferl
    Relax and unwind in the spa area of your hotel. Possible riding to nearby Artstetten. Visit to the Habsburg castle (13 km/two days).
Donauradweg_Duernstein_Ortsansicht
  • Day 6, Krems (38 km cycling, 17 km by ship)
    Riding to Melk; further by ship to Spitz. Continuing riding through Arnsdörfer to Krems. Overnight stay in 4****Hotel Steigenberger.
Donauradweg_Greifenstein_Burg
  • Day 7, Wachau (25 km cycling, 18 km by ship)
    Riding to Loiben, Dürnstein (stroll to the castle), Weißenkirchen and Spitz. Refreshments at wine taverns, return journey by ship. Overnight stay in the previous night's hotel.

  • Day 8, Vienna (52 km cycling, 21 km by train)
    Riding through the flower city Tulln to Greifenstein, romantically situated on the outskirts of Vienna; return of bicycles; continuing by train to the 4****Hotels Arcotel Kaiserwasser or NH Danube City.

    Return journey by bus from the hotel.

Passau

Linz
Big evening buffet in C. Marriott; the panoramic restaurant of the Hotel Schillerpark is one of the most beautiful locations in Linz. Perfect service.

Maria Taferl
Fascinating Alpine Panorama, excellent, delicious and innovative cuisine focused on Wachau specialities. Top customer service.

Krems
2 stars restaurant with perfect service and gorgeous Danube terrace. The meals are reach on vitamins and have an exquisite taste.

Vienna
The Sirk vis-à-vis the Vienna State Opera is one of the best restaurants in the city. Its legendary highlight already for 30 years is appetizers buffet. Many Opera artists eat here!
