FACTS
Individual cycle tour along the 1st long distance cycle track of Europe from Passau to VIENNA. Your overnight stay is on board the middle-class ship MS Diana in the most beautiful spots near the centre.
ROUTE
- SATURDAY, Arrival Passau
16.15 h bus transfer from private parking space or at 16.45 h from train station to the ship, which anchors in the old town. Welcome menu on board.
- SUNDAY, Obernzell - Linz (67 km)
In the morning by ship to Obernzell. Hand-out of bikes directly at the Danube Cycle Track. Cycle tour passing the Schlögener Schlinge, through the unsettled narrow valley at Kaiserau till Ottensheim. Further on by ship to Linz.

- MONDAY, Linz - Grein (59 km)
Cycle tour along the Danube past the swimming lake Pleschinger Lake to Mauthausen and to the Water Castle Pragstein; further on over Mitterkirchen (Open-air Museum Celtic Village) to Grein (castle, theatre, aso.).

Through the Struden- and Nibenlungengau past the Abbey Säusenstein to the gate of the Wachau - to Melk, famous for its impressive abbey; on the opposite bank in Emmersdorf anchors your ship.

- WEDNESDAY, Wachau - Krems (39 km)
Cycle tour from Melk through the Wachau, the most famous Danube stage. The cycle track leads into the wildly romantic vineyards of the well-known wine-growing towns Spitz, Weißenkirchen and Dürnstein (ruins, abbey church) as well as the UNESCO-world heritage site Krems.

- THURSDAY, Krems - Vienna (34 km)
In the early morning by ship to Tulln. Cycle tour on the Danube Cycle Track directly past the hills of the Viennese Forest till Vienna-Nußdorf to the ship. Individual underground ride into the town centre (approx. 25 min.) and sightseeing of the town of Waltz (St. Stephen´s Cathedral, Hofburg, Ringstraße aso.). Late dinner on board (approx. 21 h) and afterwards departure of the MS Diana in direction Wachau.

- FRIDAY, Au-St. Florian-Linz (45 km)
In the early afternoon the MS Diana reaches Au. Cycle tour past Mauthausen and Enns (oldest town of Austria) to the Abbey St. Florian (Bruckner-Vault). Guided tour of the convent and further on by bike past Abwinden to Linz. Hand-back of rental bikes. In the evening trip by ship in direction Passau.

- SATURDAY, Disembarkment Passau
Arrival of the MS Diana in the old town of Passau. 9.45 h bus transfer to the train station or further on to the Donau Touristik private parking space.
YOUR SHIP
The MS Diana is an under the Dutch-flag riding middle-class cruise ship. Traditional ship architecture combined with rustic equipment. 79 m long, 7,75 m broad, 1,3 m draught.
39 outside cabins with ground beds for 80 passengers on 2 decks (main and promenade deck).
All cabins (approx. 9 m²) are equipped with SH/WC, 2 separate ground beds, air conditioning and TV. The windows can be opened in all cabins.
Further restaurant (one sitting), lounge with bar and generous sun deck.
On board 14 members of staff cater for your well-beeing. German-speaking guides on board.
Route changes according to the water level are unlikely but possible.
