GENERAL INFORMATION

Cycle Track: First long distance cycle track of Germany; already in the 1980ies generously built away from the traffic. For the majority bituminised or hard sanded; uniformly marked. From Rothenburg/Tauber to the near spring of the Altmühl slightly hilly, then flat to slightly downhill. From Kelheim to Regensburg Danube Cycle Track in same quality.
Start and end: Rothenburg o.d. Tauber (11.200 inh.) or Gunzenhausen (16.100 inh.), Regensburg (132.200 inh.).
Dates: Daily arrival from April 30th to October 9th (=last arrival)
Low season: April 30th to May 20th, Sept. 1st to Oct. 9th
High season: May 21st to Aug. 31st
OUR PLUS: Return transfer every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the hotel in Regensburg to the private parking space in Rothenburg incl. taking of private bikes for € 18,-/without or € 63,- incl. transport insurance (otherwise 3 x changes by train necessary). CHILD REDUCTIONS
If you book one child in a double with 2 adults you get from 0-6 years 100 %, till 11 years 50 % and from 12-15 years 25 % reduction.
