  • Day 1, Arrival
    in Passau. Unguarded private parking space. Handing out of rental bikes and info.
Donauradweg_Engelhartszell_Stift
  • Day 2, Linz/Danube (91 km)
    Passing Obernzell and Engelhartszell (convent) to the Danube bend at Schlögen, further on over Aschach to Linz.
Donauradweg_Enns_Schloss_Ennsegg
  • Day 3, Persenbeug (85 km)
    To Mauthausen and Grein as well as through the Strudengau to Persenbeug.
Donauradweg_Grein_Greinburg
  • Day 4, Krems (68 km)
    On the way through the Wachau you pass Melk and Dürnstein.
Donauradweg_Aggstein_Ruine
  • Day 5, Vienna (75 km)
    Through the wine region Danube-Carnuntum into the flower town Tulln. Past Klosterneuburg you reach the town of Waltz.

  • Day 6, Bratislava (68 km cycling, 69 km train/ship)
    Through the National Park Donauauen to Hainburg. On the cycle track into the centre of the Slovakian captial. Back by train to Vienna. Overnight as the day before. If wished back transfer by ship. Please advise with the booking.

  • Day 7, Journey home
    Transfer to Passau by bus directly from the hotel to your parked car or additional overnights.
