ROUTE
- Day 1, Arrival
from every DB/ÖBB train station/2nd class - also ICE - to Passau; Handing over of bikes and info. Overnight in 4****IBB-Hotel.
- Day 2, Schlögen (43 km)
Past Engelhartszell you cycle along the Danube to the famous Danube bend in Schlögen. Overnight in 4****Hotel Donauschlinge directly at the Danube.
- Day 3, Linz (59 km)
Through the unsettled Danube valley on the Danube Cycle Track to Aschach; over Wilhering to Linz. Overnight in the 4****hotels C. Marriott or Schillerpark.
- Day 4, Ardagger/ Grein (63 km)
Cycle tour past Langenstein and Mauthausen to Grein/Ardagger. Overnight in the 3***hotels Schatzkastl or Martha.
- Day 5, Spitz (52 km bike, 17 km ship)
Along the Danube through the Strudengau into the Wachau to Melk; by ship to Spitz. Overnight in the 3***Hotels Wachauerhof or Weinhotel Wachau.
- Day 6, Traismauer (39 km)
Past Dürnstein and Krems you cycle into the Gothic town Traismauer. Overnight in the 3***hotels Nibelungenhof or Schwan.
- Day 7, Vienna (61 km)
Passing the offshoots of the Viennese Forest you reach Vienna. Overnight in the 4****hotels NH-Danube City or Arcotel Kaiserwasser.
- Day 8, return transfer
to Passau by train. Every Wednesday from 29.6. to 24.8. the return transfer is also included by ship on the MS Kaiserin Elisabeth!
