ROUTE
Day 1, Arrival
in Würzburg in the 4****hotel. Parking on a public parking space free of charge a few min. walk from the hotel (or in the hotel underground parking space, approx. € 45,-/6 days). Handing out of rental bikes and info.
Day 2, Lohr/Main (56 km)
To the Convent Zell at the Main and to Karlstadt (Castle Karlsburg), further on away from the traffic very beautiful to Gemünden (Castle Scherenburg, timber-framed houses) and on to Lohr (townscape, Spessart Museum). Overnight in the 3***hotel.
Day 3, Wertheim (39 km)
Through the Spessart you cycle without rises through the very beautiful towns Erlach, Marktheidenfeld till Wertheim, with rich timer-framed houses. Overnight in the 3***hotel.
Day 4. Tag, Miltenberg (39 km)
Through the here wildly romantic, well-wooded Main valley passing castles and lovely towns to Mondfeld, Freudenberg and Miltenberg (Mildenburg, Franziscan Church, townscape). Overnight in the 3***hotel.
Day 5, Aschaffenburg (41 km)
In the now opener Main valley to Obernburg and Aschaffenburg (glorious castle). Overnight in a 4****hotel.
Day 6, Journey home
by train; Aschaffenburg departure 10.17 h/Würzburg arrival 11.24 h without changes.
