MOSELLE CYCLE TRACK: LUST FOR LIFE PURE

Cycle Track: The traffic-free CYCLE TRACK starts approx. 30 km after Metz in Thionville. Till there you use marked back roads. Uniformly marked CYCLE TRACK! From Cochem you cycle along or near a road.

Start and end: Metz (301.500 inh.), on 180 m sea level; one of the most beautiful French towns. Treves (103.000 inh.), on 123 m sea level located cultural town in the border triangle. Koblenz (106.000 inh.), on 64 m sea level; situated at the confluence of MOSELLE and RHINE.

Dates: Arrival for start Metz every Fr & Sa from May 13th to September 17th
Arrival for start Treves daily from April 29th to October 7th
Low season: April 29th to May 31st and from September 30th to October 7th
High season: June 1st to September 29th

Service: Parking on private grounds at the edge of Metz (F) or in Treves on a fenced private ground. Return transfer by bus every Friday & Saturday from the hotel in Koblenz or Cochem to Treves or Metz. Otherwise by train to Treves or with change in Luxemburg to Metz. Own bikes are taken on the return bus transfer for a surcharge of € 18,- without/€ 63,- with transport insurance.

A speciality is also the cuisine; at the beginning dominated by the perfect cooking of the Lorraine you will experience on the way to the Rhine continually rising creations and  excellent quality of the dishes!
