in Metz. Handing over of information. Unguarded private parking space.

Handing over of rental bikes; cycle tour along the Moselle to Remich optional without surcharge for the train ticket Metz - Thionville, where the traffic-free cycle track starts. Please notify with the booking (like this 38 km bike, 30 km train)!

- Day 3, Treves (42 km)
Through lovely vineyards you cycle past ruin Thorn, over Wormeldingen and Grevenmacher, to Oberbillig and Treves.

- Day 4, Trittenheim/ Neumagen-Dhron (40 or 48 km)
Through vineyards to Schweich (ferry tower) on to the Moselle bend of Trittenheim and to Neumagen-Dhron (oldest wine growing town of Germany) or Trittenheim.

Today the numerous Moselle bends dominate the landscape. Past Bernkastel-Kues you cycle over Traben-Trarbach into the wine town Zell.

Past the steepest European vineyard to Bullay and the picturesque Cochem.

Back by bus to Metz (Fr+Sa) or by train or additional night with cycle tour along the Rhine. Transfer of own bikes for a surcharge of € 18,- without/ € 63,- with transport insurance.
