    Day 1, Arrival
    By train to Passau. Overnight in the 3☼☼☼hotel Dormero. Distribution of travel documents and rental bikes (if booked) at the near Donau Touristik-infopoint.

    Day 2, Schlögener Schlinge (40 km)
    Individual visit of the city of three rivers Passau; past the abbey Engelszell to the famous natural spectacle. Overnight in a 3☼☼☼hotel directly at the loop.

    Day 3, Linz (56 km)
    Further on through the Danube valley to Aschach. Via Ottensheim to Linz (10 years after LINZ09 - European capital of culture). Overnight in a 4☼☼☼hotel.

    Day 4, Perg/Wallsee (48 km)
    Past the Öd-lakes into the oldest city of Austria, Enns (old city); by ferry to Mauthausen and to this day's destination. Overnight in a 3☼☼☼hotel.

    Day 5, Marbach/Ebersdorf (58 km)
    Through the romantic region "Strudengau" and further on to the holiday destination at the foot of Maria Taferl or to Ebersdorf near Melk. Overnight in a 3☼☼☼inn.

    Day 6, Krems (51 km)
    Today you see the lovely wineyards of the Wachau; ferry Spitz - Arnsdorf and further on into the UNESCO-world-heritage-city. Overnight at a 3☼☼☼hotel.

    Day 7, Vienna (74 km)
    Via the flower city Tulln you reach the city of waltz. Restitution of rental bikes at the outlayers. Overnight in a central or Danube-near 4☼☼☼☼hotel.

    Day 8, Journey home
    Return transfer from Vienna by train (via Passau). Every Wednesday in July and August you have the possibility to return with our ship (from Vienna
    8 a.m.; to Passau 1 p.m. on the next day including transfer hotel-ship in Vienna, please advise with the booking).

    The double-city Krems-Stein, that celebrated its 1000-year anniversary in 1995, is one of the oldest cities of Austria. The terraces, the climate and the location were significant for the development as center in the Danube area.


    Die Marktgemeine Marbach liegt malerisch gegenüber der Stadt Melk und bietet einen prächtigen Blick auf die dortige Benediktinerbastei. Am westlichen Tor zur Wachau gelegen ist es der ideale Übernachtungsort für Radler.


    Perg is a small Upper Austrian city in the Lower Mühlviertel at the Northern border of the Machland with 7619 inhabitants. The city is located 35 km Eastern of Linz and 7 km in the North of the Danube at the Naarn at an altitude of 250 m above sealevel.


    Linz is the capital of Upper Austria. Worth visiting is the cathedral, the castle, main square, Pöstlingberg, Lentos museum of arts and the AEC - museum of the future.


    The "Schlögener Sling", one of Upper Austria's natural wonders can be admired from the Schögener point of view.


    Passau is located at the border to Austria, as well as at the merging of the rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz and is therefore called "city of three rivers".
