Information during the trip

The usual check-in time at most hotels is between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.  Please find out before the start of your tour when you can arrive at the respective hotel. If you arrive after 19:00 on the day of arrival or during the cycling tour, please inform the Infopoint or your overnight hotel.

• Each piece of luggage must have a luggage tag.
• Each tag indicates the owner, the booking number and the total number of pieces of luggage per booking.
• The number of pieces of luggage may not be changed during the journey.
• Do not store liquids (wine bottles, etc.), important medication, fragile or technically sensitive items in your luggage.
• For removal, please ask at the hotel reception where the Donau Touristik collection point is located. Do not leave your luggage in your room.
• Your luggage will only be transported to the destination of your cycling tour. Even if you have booked an extra night after the tour, e.g. in the place of arrival.

Luggage pick-up: 9:00 a.m. Latest delivery time approx.: 6.30 p.m.

• Please ask the hotel reception about suitable and secure storage facilities.
• Please note that not every hotel offers the possibility to store the bike under the roof.
• Please leave our bikes at the agreed place LOCKED. Your rental bike drop off will be confirmed at the reception (please keep the confirmation of handover for 21 days).
• You can also use your bike on additionaly booked  nights.
• You return your rental bike to the last hotel at the end of your cycling tour (unless otherwise agreed)

By bus
You will start your return journey at the times stated. Pick-up directly from the hotel then return to the agreed location. Please hand in your voucher to the bus driver and be at the meeting point approximately 10 minutes BEFORE departure. Depending on the traffic situation, the bus may be delayed. We kindly ask for your understanding!

by train
If you have booked a return train journey, you will find a ticket number with a description of the procedure in your documents or the return ticket itself. You will find more details in your "Servus Rad"- booklet.

If you have not booked an overnight return transfer (return transfer of your own bikes), your own bike must be transported back by train on your own. You will then have to buy the bike ticket yourself at the station. A transfer from the station to the arrival hotel/infopoint is not included.

For the return transfer by overnight transport, you hand in your bikes at the hotel the day before your return train journey and receive them the next day at the times stated.  

On the day BEFORE your return journey by train, attach the bike tag to your bike so that it is clearly visible.
Then return your own bike at the overnight hotel by 17:00 (unlocked). The return transfer of customer-owned e-bikes/tandems/kiddy vans/fatbikes/bikes with a tyre width of more than 5 cm etc. is only possible on request.
