We are happy to accept your booking by telephone (also with call-back service), in writing (e-mail, fax, post), as well as directly via our homepage. If you book via our homepage, your booking will be transferred directly into our EDP system and we grant an internet discount of € 6,- per person.
Once you have made your booking, we will confirm it within approximately 7 days by e-mail or via our customer portal and request a 10% deposit. No booking fees.
Our cycling tours are individual holidays - with precisely prepared travel documents you can "experience" the cycling region at your own pace.
The fitness levels and quality of the cycle paths are indicated for each tour.
Fitness levels 1 - 5:
1 = Easy to cycle, suitable for everyone
2 = Easy routes, to be mastered with little effort
3 = For "leisure cyclists" with normal fitness, occasional stages with gradients
4 = Somewhat more demanding routes, for averagely experienced cyclists
5 = For active cyclists with several hilly stages. Basic fitness required!
Quality of the cycle paths 1 - 5:
The quality of the cycle paths results from personal experience, from the signposting and the condition of the cycle paths as well as following ADFC standards.

According to precise specifications, the companies Schauff (Remagen), Kalkhoff (Cloppenburg), Kettler (North Rhine-Westphalia), KTM (Mattighofen) and VELO DE VILLE our 7/8-speed hub and 21/24-speed freewheel bikes in different frame sizes; please state your body size when booking. In Passau, Linz, on Lake Constance and on the Altmühl incl. 1.5 l mineral water when you rent a bike.
The rental fee is included in the package price, unless otherwise stated in the offer. If the rental bike is not used, we grant a discount of € 80,- for using your own bike. Please note that for some one-centre bike tours and bike cruises no discount can be given - please ask our travel specialists. For the e-bike order there is a regular surcharge of + € 100,-. Availability is not given for all tours and for some tours e-bikes with a lower range can be booked at a lower surcharge.
NEW! In 2022 we offer you for the first time the possibility to try out an e-bike tandem (company Schauff/Remagen): bookable on request until 5 weeks before arrival; supplement/stay: + € 200,-
E-Bikes - Equally important are bike and batteries; careful maintenance guarantees at least 70 km range on the flat. On star bike tours sometimes only 50 km range; at a reduced price. Own weight only 19 kg. 45, 50, 55 or 60 cm frame height. Freewheel, 2 brakes, suspended handlebars, etc.; ladies' models with low entry on request. All our e-bikes are easy to ride even without electric drive. Please note that no e-bike is available for additional nights.
Kids bike can be booked in sizes 16, 20, 24 inch (26 already adult size). Please indicate age and body sizes. Trailer (kiddy van) can be booked for 1 to 2 children with a maximum of 40 kg. Rent € 100,-.
For Dogs up to 40 kg we have our own trailers available. Cleaning fee € 25,-. We have many dog-friendly establishments along the Lake Constance Cycle Route. Please enquire with our travel specialists.
Children's follow-me* for our youngest from 6 years/about 100 cm (with chain guard, mudguard etc.) can be booked in combination with a rental bike for € 100. Child seat without charge.
*not available on tours in Austria, e.g. routes along the Danube, Drava, all one-centre bike tours in Austria.
Specially made for us: DT Superbike from FOCUS or Schauff/Remagen (24-speed freewheel, men's version, available at no extra charge).
A deposit of 10 % of the arrangement price must be paid upon completion of the booking. Final payments must be made at the earliest 20 days before departure without further request.

For payments from outside the euro zone, please note that payment must be received in euros (€) and any charges will be borne by the client.
Exceptions are payments from Switzerland CHF (SFR), these can be made to the Swiss bank account indicated on your invoice..

You will receive your info package by post before arrival. These include detailed cycling books for distance tours with accurate maps and useful information! All other travel documents you will get on site. GPS data is available for all distance tours and for many star tours, so you can easily find your way with your mobile phone. If you provide us with your e-mail address, we will send you your hotel list no later than 2 weeks before your arrival.
As convenient as it is to travel by car, a suitable parking space at the start is not easy to find in many places - from Lake Constance to Nauders/Etsch as well as Passau or Dresden. We have taken precautions! In Passau, in Nauders on the Etsch cycle path or in Rothenburg on the Altmühl cycle path, we have rented private properties.
In all other destinations/star bike tours you will find parking information directly in the route description. (1st day, arrival).
Only for tours on the Danube cycle path we can issue DB train tickets (only if included - then with fixed train connection) for the arrival and departure. These are only valid from the next long-distance train station (= with ICE, IC, EC); seat tickets included. ÖBB tickets are valid from all stations in Austria (e.g. from Linz or Vienna to Bregenz and back for € 72,-, 2nd class with free choice of train within the desired day of travel) - seat ticket can be booked additionally for € 4,50 per direction.
For all other cycling tours, you have to book the train tickets yourself.

The number of suns ☼ mentioned is based on our experience and the stars of the national hotel categories. If named hotels are fully booked for distance tours, we make reservations of equal value if possible and refund € 5,- per person and night. If only one category below or the neighbouring town (maximum 10 km) is possible, we offer a discount of € 10,- per person and night. You will receive your hotel list approximately 2 weeks before arrival. Half board is partly provided in neighbouring restaurants of the overnight hotel. Our partner establishments are committed to safe hygienic measures against COVID-19. Please also note the official regulations of the respective countries and federal states, which may mean that services have to be adapted to the current situation (e.g. packed lunch instead of served breakfast, restricted wellness area, etc.).
