Where was the best coffee break?

The best coffee break was at the foot of Babelsberg Castle in Wartmann's Café next to the cycle path - you can't miss it. We particularly enjoyed the view of the Havel and the beer garden. The delicious homemade ice cream is definitely worth a break.

What is particularly worth seeing?

Without a doubt, Sanssouci Palace - the centrepiece of Potsdam's palaces - and its hanging gardens (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The 300-hectare park can be easily explored by bike on signposted paths.

I also took a day trip to Berlin, which is highly recommended due to the short distance and good train connections. The S7 runs every 10-20 minutes and it only takes half an hour to reach the German capital. The Museum Island with its ensemble of historical buildings is one of the most beautiful things Berlin has to offer.

What is the cycle path like?

The cycle path is completely well marked and mainly flat. Cycling in the parks and gardens of Potsdam is particularly relaxing. You can quickly reach many sights without any traffic jams or stress.

What does the hotel have to offer?

The Seminaris Seehotel is very quiet in an excellent location directly on the lake. The service was warm and the breakfast extensive, with everything your heart desires. The lakeside terrace with a marvellous view invites you to linger. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for the wellness area because there was so much to discover 😉.
