Our employee Sandra on the 4**** Sup. MS Primadonna
MS Primadonna****S - the only river cruise catamaran on the Danube
The unique river cruise catamaran MS Primadonna was purchased in 2015 and has been sailing under the red-white-red flag since winter 2015. The MS Primadonna offers several relaxation options on 4 decks, such as an indoor whirlpool, Kneipp treading pool, sauna, sun deck with loungers and outdoor whirlpool. The exclusive on-board theatre hosts entertainment evenings with artists from various regions of the Danube - from regional music groups to cabaret.
Cycle cruises in particular allow you to combine the comfort and service of a 4****Superior ship with the beauty of Europe's long-distance cycle routes.
Sandra on the Passau-Puszta-Budapest-Passau cycle cruise:
Our colleague Sandra was allowed to get a taste of the world of river cruises and travelled along the Danube by bike and boat. The nautical portal "Donauschiff" describes our 4****Sup. MS Primadonna as the most beautiful ship on the Danube - Sandra could only confirm this and is particularly proud to work for the owner of this superlative.
Insider tip #1: Where was the best coffee break?
In Passau, we recommend the small cafés in the alleyways of the city centre. In Komàrno, you can also enjoy a coffee and cake in the garden by the basilica.
Insider tip #2: What impressed you the most?
The feeling of floating on the water while enjoying the peace and quiet on the sun deck was a completely new experience for me and I can only recommend it.
Insider tip #3: These sights are a must-see:
Simply wow! - Budapest is indescribably beautiful, especially the illuminated city at night. In Bratislava, I was very impressed by the old town centre.
Insider tip #4: What was particularly memorable?
During the city tour in Bratislava, the tour guide told us that her colleague always says that the worst actors with the highest salaries sit in parliament *laughs*.
And of course the great variety between leisurely cycling on the beautiful cycle paths and relaxing on the boat.
Insider tip #5: How was the cuisine on the ship?
The food and service on board were excellent. Everything was beautifully presented and the flavour of the starters in particular was a dream. The selection was excellent and the friendly, charming waiters read every wish from your eyes.
