Customer friendly cancellation policy


Due to Covid, the circumstances for your vacation could change unexpectedly. Therefore, we offer a CUSTOMER-FRIENDLY CANCELLATION provision up to 17 days before arrival for vacations during 2022.

This applies only for own tours and bike & ship tours with our MS Primadonna or MS Esmeralda. Excluded however, are the following offers: Langenargen, Lignano, St. Jakob and Island-hopping Croatia. Cancellation fees apply as listed on our website for the respective tour.

We only retain € 35.- per person of your deposit as a handling fee. The refund will be made within 21 days at the latest after you have given us your bank details.

Thereafter the following applies:
16 to 4 days before departure 30 %
3 days before departure (no show) 45 %

For cycling tours with booked arrivals by railway, modified cancellation conditions apply according to the T&Cs:

Up to 30 days before arrival 50 %;
4 days before arrival 70 %;
From 3 days before arrival or later 75 % of the tour price.
‘No-show’ applies when the customer does not arrive because he/she decides not to travel or if he/she misses the arrival due to an unexpected event happening to him/her. In this case, a cancellation fee of 75 % shall also be paid. Services not used (for example, if a trip is terminated prematurely) will not be refunded.

For cycling tours for which Donau Touristik acts as an agent (marked as partner tours), the cancellation fees apply as listed on our website for the respective tour in question.
