    ITINERARY

    Day 1, Arrival
    To Vienna. Garage parking space near the hotel.

    Day 2, Bratislava (68 km)
    Bike distribution at the hotel. Through the Donau-Auen National Park to Hainburg and to the destination of the day.

    Day 3, Mosonmagyaróvár (50 km)
    On beautiful bike pathes to the Slovakian-Hungarian border. Through the unspoilt nature of the isle into the thermal city.

    Day 4, Györ (45 km)
    To Hédervár and partly on the idyllic Danube dam into the metropolis of Western Hungary.

    Day 5, Komárno (56 km)
    Along the Raab to the border. On beautiful bankways into the Slovakian Zlatná and further on into the fortress city (interesting museum Monostor).

    Day 6, Visegrád (69 km)
    Past the Roman castellum Kelemantia on causeways to Esztergom (cathedral) and to the destination for today.

    Day 7, Budapest (59 km)
    Through the impressing Danube Bend ("Donauknie") to Szentendre and into the center of Budapest.

    Day 8, journey home
    Booking of additional nights or return transfer to Vienna. Return transfer by bus every Friday and Saturday from 9.30 am. Entrailment of own bikes by bus possible for € 32.-. Remaining days by train to Vienna; bike ticket payable on spot.

    Visegrád

    Visegrád is a city in the Hungarian county Pest, approx. 40 km North of Budapest located at the Danube. It's famous for its castle, which was built onto a mountain in the Danube Bend (in the Slavic language area, više grad means "high castle").

    Komárno

    Komárno is a city in Slovakia. It's located at the estuary of the Waag into the Danube. Sights: Rests of the Roman field Kalamanti, old and new castle. Renaissance fortress from the 16th century and fortification from the end of the 17th century.

    Györ

    Györ is a city in a calm landscape, splendid and multicolored half way between Vienna and Budapest, where many architectural and cultural values are combined with the values of the nature.

    Mosonmagyarovar

    Mosonmagyaróvár is located at the confluence of the Danube and the Leitha, 15 km from the Austrian and the Slovakian border. The dominant attraction of the city is the thermal bath.

    Bratislava

    The Slovakian capital city offers many sights, such as the primate's palace, crowne's church, baroque town hall, etc. and is worth visiting.

    Vienna

    The "music capital of the world" (Frank Sinatra), whose description would go beyond the scope.
