Bratislava

The Slovakian capital boasts numerous sights and is well worth a visit. The small and compact centre of Bratislava is located directly on the Danube and is ideal for discovering all its sights on foot.

Top Sights

The route leads from the Primatial Palace and the Old Town Hall via St Michael's Gate to Grassalkovich Palace, the seat of the Slovak President, and on to Bratislava Castle with a magnificent view of the city. In the centre, the Cathedral of St. Martin (former coronation church) and the Blue Church are also worth seeing. Between the two churches you will stumble across probably the most photographed work of art in Bratislava, the Gaffer.

Culture & Events

Bratislava offers a broad cultural landscape and is the venue for many different events. In addition to almost 50 museums, there are about 20 galleries and almost 30 theatres. Today, Eurovea City represents one of the most important social and cultural centres of the city.

Culinary

In the centre, the many restaurants and beer pubs directly in the pedestrian zone invite you to get to know the culinary side of Bratislava. A very special gastronomic experience is offered in the Ufo restaurant on the SNP bridge at a height of 85 m above the Danube.
