Day 2, Schlanders/Naturns (55/77 km, including 31 km downhill)Passing the church tower of Graun, head towards Glurns, the smallest town in South Tyrol. Through the Vinschgau valley to Schlanders or Naturns.
Day 3, Bolzano (69/49 km)To Merano and Nals, to the confluence of the Adige and Eisack rivers, and on beautiful bike paths into the town with porticoes.
Day 4, Trento (65 km)To the Salurner Klause (language border) and onwards with views of the mountain giants.
Day 5, Riva/Arco (51 km)Through picturesque vineyards to Rovereto and Mori; over San Giovanni to Lake Garda.
Day 6, Cavaion Veronese/Affi (58 km cycling, 10 min by bus)Transfer to San Giovanni (3 km); continue to Belluno, a short stretch of country road to Albarè, and then to the day's destination.
Day 7, Verona (24 km)To the nearby Camuzzoni fortress river, a watercourse built 150 years ago to supply the water moats of Verona. With stunning views over the Adige valley, cycle car-free directly into the city center.
Day 8, DepartureBus return from hotel to Nauders every Friday to Sunday, and additionally every Thursday in May, June, and September (arrival around 2 PM). Return transfer for own bikes by bus + € 38,-; on other days, return is at your own expense (discount € 55,- per person).
Additional nights are recommended to explore the almost car-free center or visit the opera festival at the Arena di Verona (June 13th to September 6th). Tickets for the opera are available from us for € 40,- (authentically Italian on the stone steps - Gradinata, not numbered). Performance schedule and dates: www.arena.it.
