In consideration of possible increasing Corona numbers, we can only accept vaccinated persons on board for our cruises from January 2022 (1G rule). All staff on board also comply with these requirements.
Masks are compulsory throughout embarkation until the 1G rule is checked. In addition, perfected hygiene precautions such as comprehensive disinfection measures are carried out regularly. (Subject to change according to official instructions). "Vaccinated": All vaccines approved by the EMA are recognised.
The spacious facilities include the panorama restaurant 'Primo Gusto', the panorama bar 'Primavera', the Danube arena 'Prima Vista' and the on-board theatre 'Primo Theatro'. Air conditioning throughout the ship (individually adjustable in the cabins). The
third largest Danube cruise ship is 113.5 metres long and 17.4 metres wide and far ahead of other river cruise ships in terms of spaciousness.
No crowding in the corridors, comforting common areas - from restaurant to bar. In the 60-metre-long and 8-metre-wide atrium, people meet before meals, read the daily papers undisturbed and more.
Through the interesting architecture in the double hull construction (catamaran) and the 9 m high bow glazing in the Danube arena between the two hulls, you look down on the waves of the Nibelungen River, which literally flows under your feet. In a sense, you float above the water. At the reception, a glass floor with lighting allows you to look into the world "under water" and makes your stay on the Primadonna to a first-class experience. On the open-air deck you will find a small whirlpool, sun loungers, sun awnings and comfortable seating areas. The wellness area offers an indoor whirlpool, a Kneipp treading pool and a sauna. Healing and beauty massages by appointment as well as a hairdresser on board complete the offer.
The MS Primadonna has two barrier-free promenade and two upper deck cabins. Please note that all bus rides/transfers, e.g. also on the city tours, are NOT barrier-free.
Provided you can get on and off the bus independently, the transfers/city tours are gladly possible. Wheelchairs on board can therefore be used without any problems; electric wheelchairs only up to a weight of max. 35 kg.
HYGIENIC CONCEPTHigh hygiene standards are always a concern for us. These are especially important in the current times.
Here you will find our hygiene concept in detail.
GUESTS ON BOARD
We are very careful to keep our excursion programme with the MS Primadonna regional and with focus on the special features of the respective port of call or city. Our guests are not transferred for hours to other cities such as Salzburg etc. by bus. For this reason, our trips are particularly popular with guests from Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
