Route
Sunday, Passau

Arrival in Passau. 3:15 PM Transfer from the car park (Donau Touristik-Infopoint) or Passau Hbf. (from ICE 93) to the ship. Departure of the MS Primadonna at 4:30 PM. Welcome show in the on-board theatre.

Monday, Vienna

Arrival after lunch in Vienna-Nussdorf. Optional: Vienna city tour (2.5 hours) with a stop in the city centre. Optional: at 4:30 PM by bus from the centre to nearby Klosterneuburg Abbey (Verdun Altar, the main work of Romanesque art in Austria) with guided tour (1.5 hours) and tasting of the abbey's own wines (multiple award-winning).

Tuesday, Esztergom/ Budapest

Arrival in Estzergom after breakfast. Optional: walk to the cathedral and guided tour. During lunch, boat trip through the Danube Bend, also known as the Hungarian Wachau, and cruise to the festively illuminated Magyar metropolis with a mulled wine reception on the open-air deck. Arrival in Budapest at around 6:00 PM. Entertainment evening in the on-board theatre.

Wednesday, Budapest - Christmas Eve

In the morning, individual sightseeing and shopping in Hungary's capital (the shops are open until around midday). Lunch on board. Optional: Budapest city tour in the afternoon (3 hours). Atmospheric Christmas party with champagne reception. The captain and his crew present a small gift. Followed by a 5-course Christmas menu including wine accompaniment.

Thursday, Bratislava

In the morning individual sightseeing or optional: guided city tour (2 hours) with Bratislava, Renaissance Park. Evening of entertainment in the on-board theatre; during lunch continue past Devin and Hainburg towards Linz.

Friday, Vienna, Grein & Linz

After breakfast optional: visit to the oldest theatre in Austria in Grein. Onward journey to Linz. In the late afternoon, take the steepest railway in Europe up the Pöstlingberg. Concert on the Bruckner organ. Farewell evening in the on-board theatre.

Saturday, Linz

Disembarkation. Transfer to the main railway station (ICE 28/Passau from 11:34 AM) or to the car park.
 
In the interests of your safety, the 1st captain may change the programme at any time (even at short notice) due to high water, low water or other cases of FORCE MAJEURE. Arrival times are subject to lock waiting times and normal water levels.

Gourmet Culinary

We are committed to Viennese cuisine. Depending on the cruise itinerary, we also serve specialities from the respective Danube countries, prepared by a 9-man/woman kitchen brigade from all these countries. On board we offer our guests 5 meals a day: American breakfast buffet hot and cold with a juicer for your personalised smoothie, 3-course menu of choice at lunchtime, coffee and cake in the afternoon, 4-course menu of choice in the evening and a midnight snack later in the evening. Several times a week, ‘cheese from the trolley’ is served as a fifth course.
