Experience this year's turn of the year at an atmospheric New Year's Eve celebration with live dance music and shows in the on-board theatre. Whether sparkling boulevards or idyllic alleyways, enjoy the festive season with TOP service and a varied programme.

Route
Saturday, Passau

Arrival in Passau. Transfer from the car park (Donau Touristik-Infopoint) or from Passau main station (ICE 93) to the ship at 3:15 PM. The MS Primadonna departs at 4:30 PM and a snack awaits you in the restaurant. In the evening, an atmospheric welcome show awaits you in the on-board theatre.

Sunday, Krems

Arrival in Krems. Optional: In the afternoon you have the option of a guided tour of the town with wine tasting in a typical ‘Wirtshaus’ in the vineyards. The ship leaves Krems at 7:00 PM. Entertainment evening in the on-board theatre.

Monday, Vienna

The ship arrives in Vienna at 8:00 AM in the morning. Optional: bus excursion to Klosterneuburg Abbey with guided tour. Enjoy lunch on board. Optional: city tour in the afternoon with a stop at Schönbrunn Palace and a walk through the baroque palace gardens. Alternatively, an individual visit to the palace is also possible. If you wish, you can round off the evening in a cosy wine tavern. Departure at 10:00 PM.

Tuesday, Budapest

After lunch, you will cross the Danube Bend near Visegrád: one of the most beautiful river landscapes in Europe, often referred to as the ‘Hungarian Wachau’. A mulled wine reception awaits you on the open deck as you enter the city. Arrival in Budapest at around 3:00 PM. Optional: city tour of the Hungarian capital (duration: approx. 3 hours). In the evening, entertainment programme in the on-board theatre.

Wednesday, Budapest - New Year's Eve

The morning is free for individual shopping or sightseeing (the shops are open until 2:00 PM). Optional: afternoon excursion to Gödöllő Castle. In the evening, a festive 5-course New Year's Eve menu with wine accompaniment from the Bernard-Massard winery in Trier, the oldest sparkling wine producer in Germany. Live dance music and show acts ensure an unforgettable New Year's Eve on board. The ship departs at 1:00 AM.

Thursday, Bratislava

The MS Primadonna docks in Bratislava at around 3:00 PM. Optional: guided city tour (duration: approx. 1 hour) through the Slovakian capital. The ship leaves Bratislava at 7:30 PM. In the evening, an entertaining programme awaits you in the on-board theatre.

Friday, Melk

After lunch, at around 2:00 PM, the ship arrives in Melk. Optional: visit to Melk Abbey. Alternatively, the afternoon is at your disposal for an individual tour of the baroque old town. Departure at 5:00 PM. In the evening, farewell event in the on-board theatre.

Saturday, Passau

Arrival in Passau at 10:00 AM. Disembarkation by 11:00 AM at the latest. Transfer to the main railway station (ICE 28/departure 11:34 AM) or back to the car park.
 
In the interests of your safety, the 1st captain may change the programme at any time (even at short notice) due to high water, low water or other cases of FORCE MAJEURE. Arrival times are subject to lock waiting times and normal water levels.

Gourmet Culinary

We are committed to Viennese cuisine. Depending on the cruise itinerary, we also serve specialities from the respective Danube countries, prepared by a 9-man/woman kitchen brigade from all these countries. On board we offer our guests 5 meals a day: American breakfast buffet hot and cold with a juicer for your personalised smoothie, 3-course menu of choice at lunchtime, coffee and cake in the afternoon, 4-course menu of choice in the evening and a midnight snack later in the evening. Several times a week, ‘cheese from the trolley’ is served as a fifth course.
