Route
Day 1, Arrival in Bregenz

West parking/stadium (approx. € 10.- per day on-site, subject to availability) or in the parking garage (reservation required, € 135.- for 7 days per car). Bike hire (if booked) at the Donau Touristik-Infopoint.

Day 2, Egnach/Güttingen (46/56 km)

Cycle past beautiful park areas by the lake to Mehrerau, the only active monastery in the region. Continue through the Altenrhein nature reserve to the destination of the day.

Day 3, Stein am Rhein/Gailingen (51/61 km)

Cycle along the Untersee to the medieval town of Stein am Rhein, known for its famous facade paintings, making it one of the most beautiful small towns. Continue to the destination.

Day 4, Rhine Falls (30/50 km)

Follow the Rhine cycle path to Schaffhausen (Albrecht-Dürer fortress Munot) and the largest waterfall in Europe; return. Overnight as on the previous day.

Day 5, Überlingen/Uhldingen (59/69 km by bike, 15 minutes by ferry)

Cycle through the Radolfzell moor to Allensbach, over Wollmatingen to Mainau Island. Continue by bike to Wallhausen, take the ferry to Überlingen, and reach the destination.
Active version: From Wallhausen, cycle over the Bodman ridge, the namesake of the lake, to Ludwigshafen and the destination (+38 km; only about 6 km along B31).

Day 6, Bregenz (57/65 km)

Visit the Baroque church Birnau and the pile dwelling museum. Cycle through Meersburg to the Zeppelin city of Friedrichshafen. Continue into the Argenmündung nature reserve, to the island city of Lindau, and reach the destination.
