The Mainschleife near Volkach is one of the most beautiful landscape conservation areas in the heart of the Franconian wine-growing region. In the Mainschleife you can hike through the vineyards and take part in wine tastings and wine festivals. The pilgrimage church of Maria im Weingarten, which can be found in the middle of the vineyards, is also well-known in Volkach.
