Route
Day 1, Arrival

Travel to Perl at the tri-border area of Germany/Luxembourg/France. Free public parking available near the hotel.

Day 2, Trier (46 km)

Through vineyards to Nennig (home to one of the most significant Roman mosaics in Germany) and beautiful market towns such as Grevenmacher, Oberbillig, and Konz to reach the day's destination, Trier.

Day 3, Trittenheim/Neumagen-Dhron (40/45 km)

Passing through vineyards to the Trittenheim Moselle loop and onwards to the day's destination.

Day 4, Traben-Trarbach (50/45 km)

Through charming wine villages along the bends of the Moselle to Bernkastel-Kues and further to the day's destination, Traben-Trarbach.

Day 5, Cochem (56 km)

Passing by Zell ("Schwarze Katz") and Europe's steepest vineyard, the Calmont, to reach Cochem (Reichsburg).

Day 6, Koblenz (50 km)

To Treis-Karden and past Burg Bischofstein until reaching the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle at the German Corner in Koblenz.

Day 7, Departure

Return journey by train to Perl (hourly service, 1 transfer). Transfer of personal bikes available for an additional fee of € 30.- (€ 36.- for e-bikes) per overnight journey.

1 night stay with breakfast at the Hotel Residence garni in Perl. In the morning, travel through Perl to Apach and to the medieval town of Sierck-les-Bains (charming fortress, picturesque town), then take a car-free route through Koenigsmacker to Thionville (Diedenhofen) with a restaurant recommendation; return trip (52 km).
