Day 2, Horn/Arbon (39 km)Through the Altenrhein nature reserve to the Swiss shore and via Rorschach to your destination.
Day 3, Stein am Rhein/Gailingen (64 km)Pass beautiful parks and (free) lakeside beaches along the way; follow Lake Untersee to your destination.
Day 4, Schaffhausen and Rhine Falls (30/50 km)Ride to the watchmaking town (Munot Fortress) and Europe’s largest waterfall. Rhine Falls boat trip. Return and overnight stay as the previous night.
Day 5, Constance/Kreuzlingen (67 km)Cycle via the Höri Peninsula to Radolfzell. Continue to Reichenau Island for a tour of the Imperial Monastery before reaching the historic council city of Constance.
Day 6, Friedrichshafen (33 km cycling, 15 min ferry)In the morning, optional visit to Mainau Island (€22 extra). Then cycle to the ferry in Constance/Staad, cross to Meersburg, and continue along the lake via Immenstaad to Friedrichshafen.
Day 7, Bregenz (53 km)Cycle along the lake to the Argen Estuary nature reserve (optional detour to Laimnau), then continue via Lindau back to the festival town of Bregenz.
