Arrival in Vienna-Nussdorf. Boarding from 14:30. Cruise past the Donau-Auen National Park and Hainburg Gate to the Slovakian capital Bratislava.
Active Tour: Luggage drop-off by 12:00 at the ship; bike rental and individual ride from Vienna on the E6 cycle path through Donau-Auen National Park, Hainburg, and Wolfsthal to the ship in Bratislava (+67 km; please notify at booking).
Tip for a stress-free arrival: Arrive by car/train the day before and spend the night in Vienna or Passau (for an additional fee). Travel by train to Vienna on Sunday and board the ship.
Monday, Budapest (22 km)Optional: Morning guided city tour by bus with a stop at the Castle District (3 hours). Bike tour to car-free Margaret Island or through the city center.
Active Tour: Bike tour to the artist town of Szendendre (scenic location; + 56 km round trip). Evening cruise through the beautifully illuminated city of Budapest.
Optional: Morning bus excursion from Mohács to Pécs (about 50 minutes) with a guided tour and individual sightseeing. (Boarding the ship around 13:00 in Baja). Or, cycle in the morning on the Danube Cycle Path to the Baroque town of Baja (Town Hall Tower, old town).
Active Tour: In the afternoon, bike from Baja to Kalocsa, "Capital of the Puszta."
Bike ride along completely traffic-free paths past the Roman castle Kelemantia to the birthplace of Franz Lehár. Optional: Guided city tour of Komárno.
Thursday, Tulln - Spitz (59 km)Optional: Visit the Egon Schiele Museum (16 originals) or the impressive State Garden Show. Bike along the Danube Cycle Path through Krems (UNESCO World Heritage) to the wine village of Spitz in the Wachau region.
Friday, DepartureArrival in Passau around 11:30. Disembarkation by 12:30 and return journey by bus/train to Vienna or extend your stay in Passau.
