During the war in Ukraine, the Danube port of the Ukrainian city of Reni was almost completely destroyed by missile attacks. This was intended to prevent a shift of grain exports from seaports to the Danube. For this reason, we have so far considered it absolutely irresponsible to offer trips to the Danube Delta, as these routes must run directly along the Ukrainian border for approximately 55 km.
The 2027 schedule will be finalized by September 2026. If a ceasefire is reached by then – which currently appears possible – we plan to resume our Danube Delta tours.
