ENTERTAINMENT AND MORE

In the Danube arena “Primavista,” located between the two hulls, you can watch the waves of the Nibelungen Stream through a 9-meter-high glass front—flowing quite literally beneath your feet. In a sense, you are floating above the water. Seating in front of the glass façade allows guests to experience the cruise from a completely new perspective.

PRIMA VISTA

The 60-meter-long hotel lobby in the entrance area, with its bright and welcoming atmosphere, offers a cozy place to meet, chat with fellow travelers, or simply relax and enjoy a good book.

RECEPTION

The reception is located directly in the entrance area at the end of the atrium. It is your main point of contact during your stay for all important information regarding excursion times, travel details, and more.

Right in front of it, a unique illuminated glass floor has been installed, offering a fascinating view directly into the world “beneath the water”!

PRIMAVERA

The panorama bar is located above the onboard theater, at the bow glazing where the Danube arena is situated. This unique location offers exceptional views of the skylines of Danube cities while you enjoy a cocktail or an aperitif before dinner.

Furnished with comfortable lounge chairs, the bar is also a popular spot for reading during the day.

PRIMO TEATRO

The onboard theater “Primo Teatro” offers seating for 160 guests. Except during bike cruises, events take place in the only onboard theater of all Danube ships on up to 6 evenings per week. Performers from the respective regions appear on stage (meaning no repetitive onboard entertainment).

These may include an a cappella choir from Slovakia, an authentic gypsy band with 4 or 5 musicians and a true primas, a comedian with humorous acts, or folklore groups (for example from Novi Sad with up to 28 performers). You will find detailed information in the daily onboard newsletter “MS Primadonna Today.” Current daily newspapers such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, De Telegraaf, Kronen Zeitung, and Der Standard are available free of charge.

There is also an additional bar with an intermission buffet next to the theater, ensuring your comfort even during the performances.

GASTRONOMY

Gastro Chef Pietro de Rosa and his team create first-class cuisine on board, ranging from traditional Viennese dishes to seasonal specialties from the Danube countries. The menu includes a rich breakfast buffet, served 3- or 4-course lunches and dinners, afternoon coffee with cake, and a midnight snack. Vegan, vegetarian, and lactose-free options are available on request.

“Healthy Cuisine,” a quality seal monitored by the Upper Austrian provincial government, is our guiding principle.

HERE you can take a look at an excerpt from our 2025 beverage menu.

TOTAL INDIVIDUALITY

Service in the restaurant and at the 24-hour staffed reception is a top priority. Each day, you can choose between two main courses at lunch (3-course menu) and between three main courses at dinner as part of a 3- or 4-course menu. A generous breakfast with hot and cold dishes, freshly squeezed juices, and much more awaits you. When “cheese from the trolley” is served several times a week as a fifth course, gourmet hearts beat faster.

Our ship offers the most affordable bottled wine prices among all Danube ships. For example, a bottle (0.75 l) of Bordeaux Château Lamothe-Vincent, vintage 2017, is available for just €19.80. Full beverage service is also available on the sun deck. Some passengers especially enjoy having breakfast outdoors on the terrace behind the restaurant.

WIFI IS FREE OF CHARGE FROM PASSAU TO JUST BEFORE BRATISLAVA

In addition, there are two central terminals available downstream from the Austrian–Slovak border for checking your emails with a limited data allowance. Access depends on the network coverage in the respective country. The shipping company cannot accept liability for any lack of availability.
