Arrival every Friday and Saturday from May 15th to September 5th and additionally Thursday on May 14th and June 4th

Off Season: 28th of August until 5th of September

Calendar note: The light blue dates shown in the calendar are highly requested travel dates. These dates can be booked online; however, additional charges or changes to the hotel or location may apply. Based on your online booking, we will be happy to inform you how we can offer your cycling tour.

LATE SUMMER SPECIAL

For Arrivals from 28th of August until 5th of September you will recieve the rental bike for free or an e-bike for only € 90,-. Our hotel partners and us invite you for free halfboard on two evenings.

If the destination of your trip is more convenient for you, you can also use the return transfer (transfer to the starting point of the trip) right at the beginning of your trip.

Route
Day 1, Arrival in Sillian

At the transition to the South Tyrol/Pustertal cycle path. Public car park near your arrival hotel. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel. Your rental bike (if booked) will be waiting for you at the hotel.

Day 2, Oberdrauburg/Dellach (52/62 km)

Via Heinfels castle to Thal and Lienz (city scape, Bruck castle); past archaeological excavation sites (Aguntum) to today's destination. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 3, Sachsenburg/Möllbrücke (40/32 km)

Past medieval Greifenburg and through charming villages to the stage's destination. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 4, Villach (50 km)

Via Spittal and Rothenthurn castle to Paternion, on even cycle paths along the Drau, past the Gersheim marble mill to Villach (historic town centre). Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 5, Ferlach/Unterbergen (52 km)

To the most species-rich zoo in Carinthia in Rosegg; via Maria Elend (pilgrimage church) and Feistritz to the gunsmith town of Ferlach. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 6, Lake Klopeiner (47 km)

Through the romantic Rosental valley to Gallizien and past Neudenstein castle to Völkermarkt (picturesque location; old town hall). On side roads to nearby St. Kanzian on Lake Klopeiner. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.

Day 7, Departure

Return journey by bus from the hotel to Sillian every Saturday. Return transfer of own bikes possible for + € 38,- as part of the return bus journey. On the remaining days back on your own.

Lago di Dobbiaco
Lake Dobbiaco, with its famous view of the ‘Three Peaks,’ is only 21 flat, car‑free kilometers by bike from Sillian. An extra night with a day tour there (42 km) is practically a MUST!
