Arrival in Trier. Parking is available right at the hotel or in the immediate vicinity (approx. € 18,- per day, payable on site). Your rental bike (if booked) will already be waiting for you at the hotel. You can also look forward to a wine tasting at Weinhaus Trier.

Day 2, Wintrich Area (56 km)Passing Schweich with its historic ferry tower, the route leads through the impressive Trittenheim Bend of the Moselle and continues via Neumagen-Dhron to Wintrich. There, a cozy winemaker’s snack awaits you at a winery.

Day 3, Reil Area (42 km)You’ll cycle through picturesque vineyards to Bernkastel-Kues. From there, the route continues to Traben-Trarbach, home to the Grevenburg ruins and the remains of the old city wall, and on to Reil. Along the way, a cozy stop at a wine tavern invites you to linger.

Day 4, Treis-Karden area (58 km)Passing through Bullay, with its traces of a Roman settlement, and Bremm, home to the ruins of Stuben Abbey, the route leads to the medieval town of Cochem. You’ll then continue cycling along the Moselle to Treis-Karden.

Day 5, Koblenz (38 km)From Moselkern, home to the famous Eltz Castle, the route passes Bischofstein Castle and winds through the wine-growing village of Hatzenport to the center of Koblenz. There, the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress towers impressively high above the confluence of the Moselle and Rhine. Round out the day with a visit to the Koblenz wine cellar.

Day 6, End of the Cycling TourA return train ride to Trier is available for an additional fee. Bike transport for your own bicycle is offered on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (bikes must be dropped off by 5 p.m. the day before at the latest) and can also be booked for an additional fee.
