The Hotel Aumühle is located approx. 6 km uphill from the cycle path. The hotel therefore offers you the option of being picked up at 5 p.m. by arrangement (by telephone: +43 (0) 7268/8130 or by email: info@aumuehle.at) from Grein/landing stage (Snackbar/Café Schinakel) by minibus. If this time is not feasible, you can take a local taxi (subject to availability, to be organised independently) for approx. 20 euros per trip. The next day, you can cycle downhill back to the Danube Cycle Path.
If you do not wish to wait for the transfer, it is possible to cycle the approx. 220-metre climb from Grein to Hotel Aumühle (approx. 20 minutes). However, we recommend only cycling this steep, winding and busy road by e-bike (or by bike if you are very fit)!
Hotel Aumühle offers the option to pick you up at 5:00 PM, with prior notification (by phone: +43 (0) 7268/8130, by email: info@aumuehle.at), from Grein/ship landing (café Schinakel) using a minibus.
In case the time cannot be met: Pick-up with the local taxi (subject to availability) for 20 euros per trip.
You can comfortably ride back to the bike path with your bicycle.
