Top Attractions

A special attraction is the unique two-story steel bridge, which was the first of its kind to be built in Germany. The railroad runs on the upper level, while a road runs below, leading to the neighboring town of Alf on the Moselle. You can also take a small passenger ferry from one bank of the Moselle to the other. Also definitely worth seeing are the Brautrock Fountain and the ensemble of half-timbered buildings that were once noble residences. The charming Moselle riverside promenade invites you to linger by the water, take wonderful walks, and enjoy long bike rides.

Culture & Events

You can enjoy famous wines at the various wine festivals in Bullay. Particularly well-known is the Bullay Autumn and Wine Festival, which takes place on the second weekend in September and features a public wine tasting, a large fireworks display, and “ox on a spit.”

Cuisine

In addition to cozy restaurants offering Italian, Greek, and Moselle specialties, there are numerous winemakers who invite you to their rustic wine taverns to enjoy drinks and delicacies—and to simply relax.
