The top ten sights include the Frauenkirche and Neumarkt, the Royal Palace, the cathedral, the Semperoper opera house, and the city's landmark, the Blue Wonder. The Blue Wonder is a 280-meter-long bridge that has connected the Dresden villa districts of Loschwitz and Blasewitz since 1893. At the time, the bridge was one of the first pillar-free bridges in Europe, a technical masterpiece for its time. Due to insufficient maintenance, the bridge is now only usable for traffic to a limited extent.
