Once a year, usually at the end of July, the Summer Festival takes place. Masquerade balls are organized all across the island.

Pag cheese – Paški sir – is a renowned local specialty. The distinctive flavor of this sheep’s cheese comes from the island’s unique vegetation. Other island specialties include lamb, wines such as Gegic and Burin, and sage honey.
