Route
Friday, Arrival

Individual arrival in Passau by train or car by 4:30 p.m. and transfer from the Donau Touristik car park or Passau main station to the ship.

Saturday, Schlögen – Linz (56 km)

Handover of rental bikes. From the Schlögener Schlinge natural wonder to Linz.

Sunday, Linz – Grein (57 km)

From the ship, the cycle path leads directly into the countryside. Passing the castles of Pragstein and Wallsee, it reaches Clam Castle (7 km from the cycle path). Optional: guided tour at 3 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Continue to Grein.

Monday, Grein – Spitz (69 km)

Directly from the ship, you can enjoy a beautiful cycle ride through the Wachau region, past the imposing Melk Abbey and along the vineyards to the famous wine-growing town of Spitz. Stop off at a wine tavern (‘Heuriger’) for refreshments.

Tuesday, Wachau round trip Spitz – Mautern – Arnsdorf (40 km)

Through picturesque landscapes with views of vineyards. Continue by boat to Vienna. Visit to a wine tavern in Vienna, about a 20-minute walk from the boat – the winemaker pays for the first glass.

Wednesday, Vienna by bike (27 km)

Individual tour of Vienna, possibly by bike (car-free cycle path to the pedestrian zone). Optional: visit to the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna. Optional: City tour of Vienna by bus or bike, or active version: bike ride through the Donau-Auen National Park to Hainburg (54 km); return by S-Bahn (hourly service, no change via Handelskai, 70 minutes by train, ticket €15 available on site)

Thursday, Bike Tour Tulln - Spitz (68 km)

Through the most beautiful places in the Wachau region, such as Krems and Dürnstein, car-free by boat.

Friday, Disembarkation

Disembark by 10:00. Transfer from the ship to Donau Touristik parking lot or Passau train station and departure.

Program changes may occur for safety reasons due to high/low water or other force majeure events. Arrival times are subject to lock waiting times and normal water levels.

Gastronomy

The benchmark of all cruise ships! With us, individuality is the big plus. From the vegetable juicer at the American buffet to the "cheese from the board" at the end of the 4-course menu, we cater to your wishes. Dietary requirements are sometimes possible, please specify when booking. The choice of dishes is characterised by the specialities of all ten Danube countries, especially Viennese cuisine really comes into its own here. In addition, we offer the lowest bottle wine prices of ALL Danube ships, for example 1 bottle (0.7 l) Bordeaux Château Lamothe-Vincent Jg. 2011 for only € 17.90. Five meals daily with breakfast buffet, served 3-course menus at lunch and 4-course menus in the evening; afternoon coffee with pastries; midnight snack.
