Day 2, Colmar (32 km)You will pass Kientzheim and Sigolsheim on your way to the region's capital. Individual visit to the Unterlinden Museum and the beautiful old town (including Little Venice). Return.
Day 3, Along the Weiss to Orbey (36 km)Slightly uphill through the valley to Fréland (individual visit to the Museum of Folk Art and Tradition), then on via Hachimette to Lapoutroie (liqueur museum with tastings recommended). Continue to Orbey and return.
Day 4, Munster – from wine to cheese (57 km)With magnificent views over Colmar and the Rhine valley through the vineyards to Turckheim. Up the valley to Munster (Benedictine monastery ruins, Munster cheese). Return via Gunsbach (cheese museum) and Walbach.
Day 5, Rouffach and Eguisheim (58 km)Through the Kaefferkopf wine-growing region via Katzenthal to Turckheim (weekly market on Fridays). Take the EuroVelo 5 to Rouffach, return via the Alsace Wine Route and along the Weiss.
Day 6, Queen stage (50 km)Along the “Route du Vin” to Bergheim with its almost completely preserved city walls. Via Ribeauvillé (castles) to Riquewihr with its unique townscape (16th century). Return via Kientzheim.
