Leutstetten
Top sights
Leutstetten is located about 3 km north of Starnberg at the end of the Leutstettener Moos. At the end of this marsh, directly on the well-known cycle path, you will also find Villa Rustica – the remains of a Roman estate. Leutstetten is best known for Leutstetten Castle, which was acquired by King Ludwig III and where Empress Elisabeth once stayed. The Romanesque church of St. Alto is also worth seeing.
Cuisine
The Leutstetten Castle Restaurant is a popular destination for cyclists and hikers. There, you can enjoy typical Bavarian-Austrian cuisine in the large beer garden or the rustic Jägerstube restaurant, surrounded by beautiful nature.
