Top Attractions
Sanremo is located right on the coast and offers a wide selection of beaches. The water quality is excellent, the sand is very fine, and the sea slopes gently. The harbor is a great place to stroll and enjoy a cup of coffee. The historic old town, known as La Pigna, charms visitors with its many narrow streets and small squares.

Culture & Events
While taking a leisurely stroll through the old town, be sure to visit the Church of Santo Stefano with its magnificent frescoes and gold embellishments.
Every year, usually in February, the Sanremo Music Festival takes place, an event that has long been a cherished cultural treasure in Italy.

Cuisine
The geographical proximity to France is also evident in the cuisine. Seafood dishes dominate, featuring ingredients such as stockfish. Pesto Genovese, consisting largely of basil, is typical of this region. Other specialties include focaccia, farinata, pandolce genovese, and canestrelli.
