Top sights

The Wertheim castle ruins are the town's landmark. Remnants of the fortifications are still preserved today and, like parts of the old town, are listed as historical monuments. Also worth seeing are the Spitzer Tower, the Protestant collegiate church of St. Mary and the Catholic church of St. Venantius.
