Zell

Zell (Mosel) is a town with a population of about 4,300 located in the Zeller Hamm (a bend in the Mosel River) and is part of the Cochem-Zell district in Rhineland-Palatinate.

In the second-largest wine-growing community on the Moselle, Riesling is traditionally the primary grape variety cultivated. The well-known Zeller Schwarze Katz is a major vineyard site in the vicinity of Cochem Castle.
