Route
Day 1, arrival in Töll near Merano

Parking directly at the hotel. Your rental bike (if booked) will be waiting for you at the hotel.

Day 2, Sigmundskron Castle (61 km by bike, 11 minutes by train)

Downstream to Merano and on to Sigmundskron (castle, unique Messner Museum). Return to Merano and continue by train.

Day 3, Passeier Valley/St. Leonhard (50 km by bike, 10 minutes by train)

To Merano and continue upstream on the Passeier Valley cycle path to St. Leonhard in Passeier (birthplace of Andreas Hofer). Return to Merano and continue by train.

Day 4, Glurns (50 km by bike, 67 minutes by train)

Take the Vinschgau Railway to Mals. Enjoy magnificent views of the Vinschgau Valley in South Tyrol's smallest town. Return via Silandro along the Adige River.

Day 5, Bolzano (42 km by bike, 71 minutes by train)

Via Merano to the Eisack estuary and the centre of Bolzano (arcades, cathedral and beautiful old town). Return by train.

Active version: From the Eisack estuary, continue along the Adige Cycle Path to Trento, the magnificent council city with cafés on the Piazza Duomo (+ 44 km). Return by train.

Day 6, Gardens of Trauttmannsdorff Castle (22 km)

To Merano (Europatherme, parks, beautiful Passer promenade, etc.) and slightly uphill to the castle gardens. Return to the hotel (possibly by train).
