The Fulda and Weser Cycle Route takes you through idyllic river landscapes, half-timbered towns and impressive cultural sites. From the source of the Fulda to Minden, nature, culture and enjoyment await you – ideal for being active and relaxing.
Arrival every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 15. May to 11. October.
Low season: 2th to 11th October.
Mid season: 19th to 26th June and 25th to 27th September.
High season: 15th May to 14th June and 27th June to 20th September.
The light blue dates in the calendar are very popular dates. These can be booked online, but there may be surcharges or hotel or location changes. We would be happy to inform you based on your online booking how we can offer your bike holiday.

Day 2, Bad Hersfeld (50 km)From the centre to the nearby river and completely car-free past Kämmerzell through the wide low mountain range valley to Lake Pfordter, Niederaula and the day's destination. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.
Day 3, Morschen/Melsungen (43/60 km, flat or 2 climbs with approx 30 m elevation gain)On the car-free cycle path through the wide valley, past Friedlos and various Schotterseen lakes to Rotenburg ‘naturally on the Fulda’ (magnificent centre/half-timbered houses) to Morschen or nearby Melsungen (half-timbered houses). Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.
Day 4, Hann. Münden (81/64 km)Through the beautiful wooded valley with narrow river bends (meanders) and almost uninhabited, densely wooded nature reserves, drive car-free into the town where the Fulda flows into the Weser (magnificent old town). Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.
Day 5, Höxter (66 km)Continue along the romantic river bends to Höxter and the nearby, elaborately restored Corvey Castle, as well as to your destination for the day. Overnight stay in a 3☼☼☼ hotel.
Day 6, Hamelin (66 km)In the now somewhat wider Weser Valley, follow a wooded path through several nature reserves, past Ehrenstein Castle to Bodenwerder, Emmerthal and the nearby Pied Piper town. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼ hotel.
Day 7, Minden (71 km)In the now wide river valley to Rinteln, characterised by large fields, and a slight climb (approx 40 m) to Hausberge and through Porta Westfalica to the old trading town. Overnight stay in a 4☼☼☼☼ hotel.
Day 8, end of the cycle tourBooking of additional nights or train/bus return journey (persons) to Fulda at an extra charge. If you book your return transfer through us: bike transfer (own bike) on Friday and Saturday at an extra charge of € 38,- per bike.
