Authentic Donau Touristic

Together with an experienced guide, you will discover the most beautiful islands of the Kvarner Bay. In the evening/overnight, your ship will be safely moored in the harbours of picturesque seaside towns. You may choose between MS Kalipsa, MS Antonela, MS Meridijan or MS Moonlight.

Route
Saturday, Opatija

Arrival by 11:00 a.m. At 1:00 p.m. boat transfer to Krk and short cycling tour.

Sunday, Island of Krk (48 km)

Cycle through chestnut and fig forests to Dobrinj and Vrbnik. Continue to the Treskava pass (highest point of the island) with a wonderful view over the Punat valley to Baška. In bad weather (Bora wind), the tour ends early and overnight stay in Krk.

Monday, Island of Rab (22/21km)

Boat trip to the island of Rab. Cycle from Lopar to Rab. Lunch on board; optional circular tour through the “Dundo” forest nature reserve or visit of Rab town.

Tuesday, Island of Pag (35 km)

Boat transfer to the island of Pag; cycle past olive groves and along the typical stone walls to Novalja and Mandre. Continue by ship to the “flower island” of Ilovik.

Wednesday, Lošinj (20/22 km)

Boat transfer to the island of Lošinj, cycle to the idyllic fishing village of Veli Lošinj and back to the ship. In the afternoon: tour to the Sveti Ivan hill (250 m) or the Providenca viewpoint (fantastic views of the town). Alternatively, an easy ride to one of the beaches.

Thursday, Lošinj and Cres (46 km)

Cycle along the panoramic route with gentle hills to Osor, or continue now slightly more demanding to the fishing village of Martinšćica. Boat transfer to Cres.

Friday, Istria and Opatija (20 km)

Boat trip to Mošćenička Draga. Cycle along the coast to Brseč and uphill to Sveta Jelena, offering breathtaking bay views. Return to the ship and lunch during the cruise back to Opatija.

Saturday, Departure

Disembarkation by approximately 9:00 a.m. and individual departure.

Transport of own bicycles on the ship is possible, but at the customer’s own risk. We cannot assume liability for any damage to the customer's own bike. Transport on the ship is free of charge.

When bringing your own e-bikes, the batteries must be in acceptable condition; otherwise, transport cannot be permitted.

Bicycle Helmet

In Croatia, helmets are mandatory for children and young people up to 16 years of age. For adults, wearing a helmet is not compulsory but strongly recommended.

A rental helmet is provided with all booked rental bikes.

  • A certain level of fitness is required for the partly hilly cycling tours – otherwise, we recommend e-bikes!
