Route
Day 1, Arrival in Bregenz

Travel documents and rental bikes (if booked) will be issued at the Infopoint Hotel Weisses Kreuz.

Day 2, Güttingen/Romanshorn (45/56 km)

A beautiful bike ride through the parks along the lake, past the festival theater and the lake stage. Continue to Mehrerau, the only active monastery on the Austrian side of Lake Constance. Pass numerous swimming spots and continue to the Bregenzer Ache. Ride through the Altenrhein-Mündung nature reserve to Staad and continue to your destination for the day.

Day 3, Rielasingen – Gailingen (51/61 km)

Continue along the lake to Kreuzlingen and on along Untersee to Ermatingen and via Berlingen to the picturesque village of Stein am Rhein with its magnificent house facades. Continue on to the Rielasingen-Gailingen region.

Day 4, Schaffhausen and Rhine Falls (30/50 km)

Take the Rhine Cycle Route to Schaffhausen (Munot Fortress) and Europe's largest waterfall with an impressive boat trip; return. Overnight stay as on the previous day.

Day 5, Konstanz/Kreuzlingen (53 km)

Across the Höri peninsula to Radolfzell and past Reichenau Island to the council city. Tip: Island tour of Reichenau Island (+ 14 km).

Day 6, Friedrichshafen (33 km by bike, 15 minutes by ferry)

In the morning, opportunity for individual sightseeing on the flower island of Mainau; then take the ferry to Konstanz/Staad and cross over to Meersburg. Travel along the lake via Immenstaad to Friedrichshafen (customs office building in the middle of the park, castle church). Tip: After the ferry crossing, take a detour to the pile dwellings in Uhldingen (+ 10 km).

Day 7, Bregenz (35 km)

Tip: Individual tour of the Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen. Through the Argenmündung nature reserve (detour to Laimnau on the Argen + 18 km) to the island town of Lindau and on to the festival town of Bregenz.
