Day 2: Trier (46 km)Cycle along the German-Luxembourgish Moselle through picturesque wine villages and scenic river landscapes to the ancient Roman city of Trier. Here, you can admire impressive landmarks such as the Porta Nigra and the Imperial Baths. Enjoy a one-hour boat cruise on the Moselle.

Day 3: Trittenheim / Neumagen-Dhron (40/45 km)Ride past Schweich, Mehring and the first major vineyards of the Middle Moselle region on your way to Trittenheim, a renowned wine village situated on a distinctive bend of the Moselle, or to Neumagen-Dhron.

Day 4: Zeltingen (35/30 km)Via Bernkastel-Kues, continue cycling to Zeltingen, a traditional wine-growing village on the Moselle. Look forward to famous vineyards, magnificent winegrowers’ estates and the historic sundial, one of the region’s most iconic landmarks.

Day 5: Zell (36 km)Your route leads through the charming wine landscape of the Middle Moselle via Traben-Trarbach and the picturesque half-timbered village of Enkirch to Zell. The town is especially known for its famous vineyard site, “Zeller Schwarze Katz”, one of the best-known Moselle wines.

Day 6: Cochem (37 km)Passing picturesque Moselle villages such as Beilstein, the “Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle”, the route continues to Cochem. Here, you will visit the impressive Reichsburg Castle, which towers high above the old town and can be explored during a guided tour.

Day 7: Koblenz (50 km)Cycle past the vineyards of the Terraced Moselle region to Koblenz and the famous Deutsches Eck (German Corner), where the Moselle and Rhine rivers meet. Another highlight of the day is a visit to the impressive Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, perched high above the Rhine Valley and offering magnificent views of the city and both rivers.

Day 8: End of the Cycling TourOptional return train journey to Perl available at an additional cost. For your own bicycle, a bike transfer from Koblenz to Perl can be booked (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Bicycles must be handed in no later than 5:00 p.m. on the previous day. An additional charge applies for the transfer service.
