4,5 km from the center of Bad Mergentheim. Parking directly at the hotel. Your rental bike (if booked) will be ready for you at the hotel.
Day 2, Weikersheim Castle (36 km):Along the Taubertal Cycle Path to Bad Mergentheim, via Igersheim to Weikersheim to the Renaissance castle, whose park is considered one of the most beautiful in Baden-Württemberg (closed on Mondays).
Day 3, Wertheim (45 km by bike, 47 min by train):Along the Taubertal Cycle Path past Lauda-Königshofen, slightly hilly, to Wertheim, where the Tauber and Main rivers meet. Return by train (hourly service).
Active version: Take the train to Lauda and cycle back to the hotel (+ 8 km by bike, 29 min by train).
Day 4, Bad Mergentheim (10 km):Cycle to Bad Mergentheim to the Solymar Thermal Spa (10,500 m² of water area; one of the most modern in Baden-Württemberg; included Monday to Friday only). Afterwards, visit the Residenzschloss with the German Order Museum.
Day 5, Kirnautal & Boxberg (30 km):Cycling tour through the beautiful, flat side valleys of the Tauber with wine tasting.
Active version: Continue to Eubigheim to Bettendorf Castle (+ 19 km); return.
