From the hotel, you will start by cycling on a gentle incline toward Lake Reschen, which you’ll reach after about 5 km. Along the picturesque shore, you’ll enjoy magnificent views of the Vinschgau Valley and follow the varied route to the Marienberg Monastery. The route then continues mostly downhill through the upper Vinschgau Valley. Passing through Laatsch and the historic town of Glurns, you’ll continue your ride and finally reach the beautiful resort town of Schlanders or Naturns.

On mostly easy-to-ride bike paths, you’ll follow the Adige River downstream. The route first passes through Merano and continues through South Tyrol’s fruit- and wine-growing countryside to Nals. You’ll then reach the confluence of the Adige and Eisack Rivers, a notable landmark along the bike path. From here, you’ll continue on beautiful, well-maintained paths into the historic city of arcades, whose historic alleys and arcades define the cityscape and invite you to take a leisurely stroll.

Overnight stay at a 3^☼☼☼ or 4^☼☼☼☼ hotel on the outskirts of town.

Today you will follow the Adige River along a completely flat route through the Adige Valley. On well-maintained bike paths, you’ll first reach Neumarkt-Auer. The route continues to the Salurn Pass, which has been considered a prominent crossing point between South Tyrol and Trentino for centuries. Via San Michele all’Adige, you will finally reach the ancient Council City of Trento. There, numerous sights await you, such as the cathedral, the castle, and the Fountain of Neptune. The picturesque cityscape, interesting Roman ruins, City Hall, and a wide variety of shopping options also make for a memorable stay in the historic center.

You will continue along the Adige Cycle Path, cycling through the picturesque wine-growing regions of Trentino toward Rovereto. The city impresses with its charming historic center and numerous monuments that tell the story of its eventful history. The route then leads to Mori and on to the quieter little town of Loppio. From there, you will cycle uphill on a gentle slope to San Giovanni. Passing through Torbole, you will finally reach Lake Garda and follow the shoreline to Riva or Arco. Along the way, you will be treated to impressive views of the lake and mountains before reaching your destination for the day on the northern shore of Lake Garda.

After a short bus transfer to the San Giovanni Pass, you’ll begin today’s bike ride in a scenic location. From here, the route is mostly flat to slightly downhill and leads back to the Adige Bike Path, which you’ll follow through the charming landscape of the Adige Valley. You will continue your ride through Belluno Veronese before tackling a short climb to Rivoli Veronese. Afterward, a quiet stretch of side road takes you directly to your destination for the day in Cavaion Veronese or Affi.

After a short ride on a side road, you will reach the Canale Cammuzoni (also known as the Biffis). You will cycle almost entirely on flat terrain along this historic irrigation system—which once supplied water to the fortresses of Verona and Mantua—on a traffic-free bike path. Along the way, you will be treated to impressive views of the Adige River time and again. You will pass the first cycling observation tower, which offers a particularly beautiful view of the river landscape. The route continues through Bussolengo. After a short stretch on a side road, you will follow the water again and then arrive directly in the historic center of Verona.

Your cycling tour ends after breakfast. You will then begin your individual return trip. If your travel plans allow, you may want to book additional nights to extend your stay a bit longer. This will give you the opportunity to explore the almost car-free city centre or attend the festival at the Arena di Verona (11^th June to 11^th September 2027).
Return coach journey from Verona to Nauders is available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for an additional charge. Return transport of your own bikes costs an extra € 40,-. The remaining days are at your own discretion.
