The church village of Pfünz offers several sights in the heart of the Altmühltal. The main highlight of the village is undoubtedly the Roman fort. The Roman cohort fort was built around 90 AD on a 42-metre-high Jurassic spur. Also worth seeing is the medieval Roman bridge in Pfünz, which was built across the Altmühl River around 1486.

During the summer months, various festivals take place, including the spring and summer festivals, the St. John’s bonfire and the summer night festival. Visitors can enjoy a pleasant get-together in a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere.
