Culture & Events

The Müritz Saga Festival is a series of theater performances based on myths, stories, and legends from the Müritz region, held in a dedicated open-air theater with more than 1,200 seats.

The Müritz Sail takes place in May. This well-known folk festival on and around Lake Müritz attracts more than 65,000 visitors every year and offers several regattas, a water ski show, and canoe races, making it well worth a visit.
